Bobby Brown Wants Bobbi Kristina To Co-star In His Biopic

  Whitney Houston' s ex-Husband and R& B singer Bobby brown has written a script about his life and would like his daughter Bobbi Kristina to co-star in the movie.    The script entitled  The Bad Boy of R&B: The Bobby Brown Story  written by Bobby Brown and budding filmmaker Michael A. Pinckney  was initially being sent out to potential backers late last year but received very little interest.    Being that the script was written in 2011, it doesn’t seem like the Bobby Brown camp is trying to capitalize on Whitney’s death ,b ut after the death of Whitney Houston  on February 11, Bobby and his writing partner have had renewed attention to the project.    The filmmaker said :We [Bobby Brown and I) actually wrote the script back in November and the movie lightly touches on their life & marriage together.  We will now definitely have to go back in and revise the ending of the movie.  This is such a sensitive subject which is why we did not push the fact that we have a s

Rihanna,Brandy,Jennifer Hudson Shortlisted To Play Whitney Houston In Biopic

Whitney and Jordin sparks     American music stars Rihanna , brandy , Jennifer Hudson have  been shortlisted  in the running to play Whitney Houston in a movie tribute to the Late Icon . Whitney’s mentor and record company boss Clive Davis is behind the project to immortalise the 48-year-old superstar on film.   Sources said: “Clive wants to get the script done and start filming as soon as possible.”     Others  being considered include actress Vivica Fox, 47, and 22-year-old American Idol singer Jordin Sparks who starred alongside whitney in soon to be released sparkles while  Willow Smith ,11,  is being lined up to play the whitney as a child.     Whitney was said to be aware of the project before her untimely death and brandy had earlier shown intetest in playing her .Brandy  said in an interview  “ My dream role would be to play Whitney Houston. British actor,Idris Elba to play Nelson Mandela in official biopic

    British actor , Idris elba is about to sign on to play the role of African leader ,Nelson Mandela in an official biopic .        Elba currently stars as BBC crime thriller  Luther , and his movie credits include  28 Weeks Later ,  American Gangster  and  Obsessed . He recently expressed an interest in taking over the role of James Bond from  Daniel Craig .       Previous actors to play Mandela on the big screen include  Terrence Howard  in  Winnie  and  Morgan Freeman  in  Invictus .  Before Elba's name came up, actors including  Will Smith  and  Denzel Washington  had been linked to the iconic role.     The biopic will start filming next year

Micheal Jackson biopic in the works

    Initial plans for a film about the life of the late  Michael Jackson   are apparently underway, according to reports.     Different sources have revealed that the singer’s estate is currently in talks with Hollywood producers concerning a biopic about  Jackson , though it is thought that if a film is made, it will only cover certain periods in his life.     Montecito Picture Company also  confirmed that they are currently negotiating a deal with  Jackson ’s estate.      This follows the news that a previously unseen  Michael Jackson  documentary is set to be auctioned in London later this month. The film, which features footage of the singer's ‘Dangerous' world tour in 1993 filmed in Argentina, was given to  Fame Bureau  auctioneers by Jackson's chauffeur and has been given a reserve price of £4 million, although it is expected to sell for a higher amount.
