One new case of the  COVID19  has been confirmed in the Federal Capital Territory. This was confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday, March 22.   According to the NCDC’s report via Twitter, Nigeria as at 11:00am on the 22nd of March, now has 27 confirmed cases of  #COVID19  . While the 27th case has been confirmed the NCDC also noted that two persons of the number recorded have discharged. As at the time of the report, there have been no death recorded with regards to the virus.

The poster shows the singer will be contesting in ogbomosho north/ogbomosho south/orire federal constituency,though he is yet to reveal his affiliation with any political party.        America’s WWE prowrestling icon, Hulk Hogan, has accepted to lead top WWE superstars from the United States of America, Europe, Asia and Africa to the Universal Promotional Wrestling Federation (UPWF) World heavyweight title defence of US based Nigerian world heavyweight champion, Offor Ositadinma, who is fondly called ‘De Ultimate Commander’.    A spokesman of the organizing committee for the championship told journalists over the weekend that the event will feature, among other exciting bouts, a world heavyweight title defence involving the UPWF champion, Nigeria’s Osita Offor, also known as De Ultimate Commander, against an American challenger.      According to the spokesman of the organizing committee, Etim Okima, apart from Hulk Hogan, the event will feature such other wrestling super stars as Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Slam Shady, Rick Fuller and the tag team partnership of the Powers of Pain, among others.   Oki...

         Nigerian football player Bobsam Elejiko has died during his club match in Belgium .Fifth-tier Belgian club Merksem S.C.  says Bobsam Elejiko collapsed during the Provincial 1 game against F.C. Kaart on Sunday and attempts to resuscitate the Nigerian-born Belgian were unsuccessful.           The cause of death was not immediately clear.Merksem says in a statement on its website that “we express our condolences to the Elejiko family during this difficult time.”The 30-year-old Elejiko had previously played for Westerlo and Antwerp among other teams.The match was abandoned after Elejiko’s death.
