  The former Lagos-based correspondent for CNN , Christian purefoy  was arrested this morning by the security men at ojota when trying to cover the happenings around the area.    Christian who now works with  battabox.com (a mobile video website) was released after giving some explanations.     The Lagos-based correspondent for CNN , Christian purefoy has left the news network .Christian made it known earlier today on twitter by tweeting ;     "Dear all, i have now moved on from CNN -I'D like to thank everyone for the support over the last seven years!But this is not the end."     Christian purefoy has anchored programmes like CNN African voices which has featured many nigerian celebrities like Genevieve Nnaji, Asa, cobhams asuquo , pastor adeboye and many more.He also covered Nigeria elections in 2011 all over lagos and some other parts of the country .
