Finalists and the judges       In preparation for the grand finale scheduled for December 16, 2011, organizers of Jay’s Search 2011 took time off their busy schedule to audition 20 contestants on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Protea Hotel, GRA Ikeja, Lagos.    The judges Segun Obe, Wunmi Obe, Tunde Obe, Folusho Olateju Leigh, Dewale Adenmosun and Angela Emuwa had a filled day screening talents who came out from the nooks and crannies of Nigeria before they eventually made a decision to pick eight people. “I can assure you that we got more than we bargained for”  Wunmi Obe, Jaiye Aboderin’s elder sister says “ infact the initial plan was to pick six people, but we just couldn’t bear to see these talents waste, hence we have eight finalists”    Kaduna based Daniel Oramali and 13 year old Awoyemi Tolulope will join Akanji Abiodun, Olusola Lasisi, Aiyegbusi Tolu, Ilori Alaba, Odemonke Bassey and Temitayo Ogunbusola to slug it out for the grand prize ...

   The exciting and entertaining Talent hunt show Put together by the Aboderin family in honor of their late brother Jaiye Aboderin- Jay’s Search will kick off in a matter of days! Jay Search is a bi-annual music talent search dedicated to the memory of late Jaiye Aboderin (1971-2004), who died  December 3 rd  2004 after he slumped during a casual game of basketball with friends.     In a statement released this week, the committee says “ All is now set for this year’s Jay Search. Online auditions ended on Monday November 14, 2011, and we are finally set for the live auditions.
