   The official video for the upbeat " Celebrate ," which the late whitney houston recorded with co-star Jordin Sparks for their film, "Sparkle,"has just been released .Celebrate is the final song recorded by the late legend and it showcases Sparks and her co-stars enjoying an evening at home.          Houston was absent, though the  footage was blended with video of her role in the movie: she plays the single mother of an aspiring vocal trio (Sparks, Carmen Ejogo and Tika Sumpter).  Sparkle will be in theatres August 17.Watch the video below

Cissy Houston and whitney houston        The Late Whitney Houston 's mother , Cissy Houston will perform a tribute to honour daughter at the 2012 BET Awards .       Cissy was recently added to the list of performers of the award to be hosted by samuel L. Jackson on july 1,2012 and will be joined on stage by many top female singers .      MMG leader Rick Ross and his artists Meek Mill and wale ,Kanye west's G.O.O.D Music, D'angelo have also been  added to previously announced performers .  The  BET Awards  airs live from The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. 

Whitney Houston and Jordin sparks        Late Music icon , Whitney Houston 's final recording has been  released. The song, "Celebrate," is a duet with singer Jordin Sparks  produced by R. Kelly   from Houston's last movie, a remake of the film "Sparkle."       The song will be available on iTunes June 5. Sparks performed a tribute to Houston Sunday night at the Billboard Music Awards, singing "I Will Always Love You" as Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina wiped away tears.      Houston's death in February at age 48 came as the singer had been attempting a comeback and had finished filming "Sparkle. "Sparkle" opens in theaters August 17.    The uptempo track features disco beats and a positive message, as Sparks and Houston sing lyrics such as " I'm going to celebrate, celebrate you ." Chaka khan & Whitney houston     Grammy award-winning singer Chaka Khan will perform a tribute to the late Whitney Houston at the Apollo Theater's gala and awards ceremony.      The historic Harlem theater confirmed Friday that the "I Feel for You" singer will perform in her friend's memory. Lionel Richie and the late Etta James will be inducted into the theater's hall of fame during the June 4 gala.      Soul Train creator Don Cornelius and songwriter Nick Ashford will also be honored posthumously. Richie's first Apollo appearance was in the early 1970s. The "Hello" singer says he's thrilled to be chosen for the hall of fame. James was known for ballads like "At Last." She performed at the Apollo in 1957 and again in the 1960s. Past inductees include Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Aretha Franklin.

Whitney and daugher bobbi    A reality show featuring Whitney Houston 's relatives, including daughter Bobbi Kristina and mother Cissy, is in the works. Houston representative Kristen Foster confirmed the Lifetime show, " The Houston Family Chronicles, " on Friday.       It will focus on Pat Houston who is taking care of whitney's only daughter bobbi kristina , sister-in-law and manager of the late singer.The show promises to feature Bobbi Kristina and Cissy, as well as Houston's cousin Dionne Warwick, gospel singer CeCe Winans and other members of the Houston family.     Whitney houston's mom Cissy Houston, also a singer, put out her first new music in over a decade on iTunes this week. Cissy, Gary and Bobbi Kristina are expected to appear Saturday in Newark, N.J., at a gospel tribute to the late superstar as part of the annual McDonald's Gospelfest concert.

Bobby and Alicia           Bobby brown ,R&B star and ex-husband of music icon whitney houston is ready to get married to his longtime partner Alicia Etheridge .    Bobby and his band New Edition will be performing in the beautiful island of Hawaii, so he went ahead and set an accompanying wedding date for him and his fiancée.Bobbi and Alicia have been engaged since 2010 and have one child together .     The wedding will take place during the weekend of June 15th and Brown has said that for his "big day," he will be flying out some friends and family to attend the ceremony.

     Whitney Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown struck back at claims he was responsible for getting the pop star hooked on drugs or that he somehow played a role in her cocaine-fueled death in February.     "I'm not the one that got Whitney on drugs, at all," Brown said in an interview to be aired this week on the "Today" show on U.S. television network NBC. "I'm not the reason she's gone ," he added.     In his first TV interview since the singer died, Brown, 43, told "Today" show host  Matt Lauer  that he had been off drugs for seven years and was hurt to hear that Houston had been using cocaine.    " I was hurt ... because, you know, me being off of narcotics for the last seven years - I felt that she was, you know, I didn't know she was struggling with it still.                                                                            Singer Bobby Brown pleaded not guilty Monday to three misdemeanor charges related to driving under the influence. Brown pled not guilty in a Van Nuys courtroom on Monday morning to the charges. He allegedly blew a .12, but the legal limit in California is .08. The judge ordered Brown not to consume any alcohol until the case is resolved.        Brown, 43, Ex-husband of  late pop diva Whitney Houston, was pulled over March 26 in Reseda after he was spotted talking on his cellphone. After taking a field sobriety test, he was arrested and charged. He faces charges of driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08% and driving with a suspended license, according to prosecutors. He faces a maximum of a year in county jail if convicted.

  Whitney Houston  was found face-down in a bathtub with cocaine in her system and  drug paraphernalia  on the bathroom counter nearby, investigators revealed in the singer's final autopsy report released Wednesday.   The report delivered a grim accounting of Houston's final hours nearly three months ago. The singer complained of a sore throat before an assistant suggested she take a bath before the start of a pre-Grammy Awards gala. By the time the assistant returned, Houston had drowned and was lying face down in the tub.    Investigators who scoured the room later found in the bathroom a "spoon with a white crystal like substance in it," and a white powdery substance in a drawer and on a mirror, according the report.     Toxicology results also showed Houston had marijuana, Xanax, the muscle relaxant Flexeril, and the allergy medication Benadryl in her system, but none are considered factors in her death.     The report provides a sad footnote to Houston's li

   Whitney Houston's only daughter Bobbi Kristina has reportedly landed a role in Tyler perry 's sitcom " For Better For Worse" .      This will be the first major role for the aspiring actress who has been taken under the wing of Perry, who spoke at the late singer’s funeral last month, and given the 19-year-old a reoccurring role in the TBS Show, which has been picked up for a second season.      Bobbi Kristina will reportedly play the daughter of one of the stylists who works in the salon run by Angela Williams, played by  Tasha Smith .    The hit series is based on Perry’s big screen blockbusters,  Why Did I Get Married?  and  Why Did I Get Married Too?

      Bobby brown was charged Wednesday with three misdemeanor charges including drunken driving, two days after his afternoon arrest in suburban Los Angeles.   Brown faces two DUI-related counts and another charge that he was driving on a suspended license.One of the counts alleged the R&B singer had a blood alcohol level of more than .08, which is the level at which is presumed to be driving under the influence.      The agency said Brown was initially stopped because he was seen talking on a cellphone without a hands-free unit, but the officer suspected the singer was impaired. Brown failed a field sobriety test, according to the CHP.    Brown faces up to six months in jail on the DUI counts if convicted. His first court appearance is scheduled for April 16.

    R&B singer Bobby Brown ,the ex-husband of late singer whitney houston was arrested in Los Angeles on Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence.    Brown, 43, was pulled over shortly after noon for talking on his cellphone while driving in the suburb of Reseda. Police suspected he had been drinking and he failed a sobriety test, said Los Angeles police Sgt. Mitzi Fierro.Brown was booked and briefly jailed before being released. The singer will likely face formal charges at a later date.

      Whitney Houston  was a chronic cocaine user who had the drug in her system when she drowned in a hotel bathtub, coroner's officials said Thursday after releasing autopsy findings that also noted heart disease contributed to her death.   The disclosure ended weeks of speculation about what killed the Grammy-winning singer on Feb. 11 on the eve of the Grammy Awards . Houston was found submerged in the bathtub of her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and her death was ruled accidental. Several bottles of prescription medications were found in her hotel room, but coroner's officials said there weren't excessive quantities.   Whitney Houston' s ex-Husband and R& B singer Bobby brown has written a script about his life and would like his daughter Bobbi Kristina to co-star in the movie.    The script entitled  The Bad Boy of R&B: The Bobby Brown Story  written by Bobby Brown and budding filmmaker Michael A.
