        J. Edgar , the new film starring  Leonardo DiCaprio , has had its first trailer released online.     Directed by Clint Eastwood, the period film tells the story of the founder of the FBI, J.Edgar Hoover, a man whose life was the subject of much criticism for his controversial, sometimes illegal, methods of gathering evidence.    The trailer also hints at his relationship with his Number Two, Clyde Tolson - played by The Social Network's Armie Hammer, as well as Hoover's lifelong struggle with a series of psychological issues. J.Edgar  is due for release in the UK on January 20, 2012.
