 It looked like it might not happen but the case has finally surfaced.Finally,Soulja Boy has been charged for carrying a gun in a car. Last year,Soulja was arrested after policemen found a gun in his car after he was pulled over. He was arrested on the spot, but the investigation took months.The rapper claimed his neighbor was the culprit he had borrowed the car and stashed the Smith & Wesson .38 caliber revolver under the bucket seat of the Panamera.The rapper is facing misdemeanor charges of unlawfully carrying a loaded firearm and also a weed charge. Well,its no longer news when rappers get jail sentences.Hope he gets off lucky.

    Soulja Boy  was arrested early this morning for weed possession  and cops allegedly found a TON of weed and cash during the arrest.    According to TMZ ,The 21-year-old rapper -- real name  DeAndre Cortez Way --  was popped early this morning by Temple Police Department officers in Temple, GA at 3:15 AM.     Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Soulja was in a car with 4 other men, which was originally pulled over for a traffic violation.   During the stop, cops found a "substantial amount" of marijuana and cash inside the vehicle." Soulja and the 4 other men were all arrested. Soulja is still being held in Carrol County Jail.    Law enforcement sources tell ,officers also found guns inside the car -- though it's unclear if any of the men had the proper licenses to be in possession of the firearms. .  One source with knowledge of the situation tells  there was roughly $70,000 in cash and drugs in the car. 

       The 21-year-old rapper is dropping $55 MILLION on a new private jet. A member of Soulja's management team tells TMZ the kid bought himself a G5 jet as a birthday present to himself this week.
