    MTV has announced the five nominees that will compete in the all-new Worldwide Act category at the 2011 MTV EMAs. For the past month, MTV has allowed fans the world over a chance to vote for their favorite hometown artists.     Now, the final round of nominees will go head-to-head in a final round of voting in effort to earn the Worldwide Act award/title/honor. In Africa/India/Middle East category ,Only Abdelfattah Grini has made it to the final stage while Nigeria's wizkid, fally ipupa ,cabo snoop, black coffee, and scribe have been dropped." The five finalists in this global category are as follows: Lena (Europe) BIGBANG (Asia Pacific) Abdelfattah Grini (Africa/India/Middle East) Britney Spears (North America) Restart (Latin America) The winner will be announced at the MTV EMA show in Belfast, Ireland on Nov. 6.

      MTV today announced the nominees for the “2011 MTV EMA” with Lady Gaga leading the pack with six nominations, and Katy Perry and Bruno Mars following closely behind with four nominations.   British songstress Adele , who stands as the top-selling artist of the year, has been nominated for three awards, with Justin Bieber and Thirty Seconds To Mars also up for three.  The 18 th annual MTV EMA will take place on Sunday 6 November at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena, airing on MTV channels around the world including MTV (DStv 321) and MTV Base (DStv 322).      New this year is the World Wide Act category, which celebrates diversity and the breadth of all the music that MTV has to offer by nominating incredible artists from all corners of the world.   Fans will be able to vote for an artist/group within five different regions (Asia Pacific, North America, Latin America, Africa/India/Middle East and Europe).   The nominee from each region with the most votes (to be announced the week of

     Ace producer and Highlife/pop Musician ,Jay martins has disclosed in an interview that he has done a song and already shot the video with Angolan superstar Cabo snoop and another  acapella with Fally Ipupa. 

       Last Sunday Nigeria's Karen Igho and Zimbabwe's Wendall parson won the Bigbrother amplified show ,each walked away with $200,000. In the videos,they talked about how they won and how they are going to spend their money.
