Seventeen years since the release of his debut album  Get Rich or Die Tryin’ , the multi-faceted rapper-actor-mogul received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (Jan. 30). Friends including Eminem and Dr. Dre were on hand for the star-studded ceremony near the intersection of Hollywood and Vine. Following some words from former Starz CEO Chris Albrecht, Eminem took the stage to recall the first time he met a young Curtis Jackson. “It just kinda felt like he’s gonna be a star. The way he carried himself, swagger, everything. It just seemed like he was the whole package,” said the Detroit rapper, who signed 50 to Shady Records. Em also reflected on their friendship. “I’m here today because this is not only a business partner to me, it’s one of the best friends I’ve ever known in the world and I would say it’s much more fun to be his friend than it is to be his enemy, ’cause this guy is fucking relentless. And he won’t stop.”

   Starboy Wizkid has been booked to perform at this year's Coachella festival. The superstar will perfom alongside the headliners, Eminem, Beyonce and the Weeknd. The festival starts on April 13 till April 22, 2018.

The enthusiastic audience watched in excitement as Rihanna was to dump the icy water over Eminem, who was nominated by Dr. Dre. The Barbados singer poured the contents of the tub over Eminem's head after a countdown as given by the audience.    Fans are not buying the 'live' part of Marshall Mathers 's concert performance at the Rose bowl.The rapper has been accused of lip synching which is not good for his talent and his wealth of musical experience.    A homeless Man has sued Rapper Eminem for stealing his idea.The rapper is being sued over Bon Fire Chrylser commercial that was debuted last year at the SuperBowl.        Allhiphop.com reports that a  man named Stephen Lee Pieck, who lists his address as "homeless", filed the suit earlier this month at the United States District Court in the Southern District of New York.     Pieck claims that he was having dinner with singer Christina Aguilera and her then husband Jordan Bratman in the Legal Seafood restaurant in White Plains New York on September 9 2010 when Aguilera called Eminem. He then claims that Aguilera handed him the phone and that he then gave Eminem the idea for the 'Born Of Fire' commercial    He wrote in his handwritten lawsuit ; “I want the court to reward me a judgment in the amount of $9 million,” Pieck’s handwritten lawsuit states. “I designed every aspect of the commercial and the commercial was stolen from me.      Eminem’s friend and long-time associate rapper Chaos Kid - aka James Deel - was found dead this week after committing suicide.     Deel is believed to have killed himself a few days before being found.  According to  AllHipHop , details of the incident are scarce but the two went way back, meeting in their home town of Detroit, Michigan and then becoming friends sometime around 1988. The duo went on to rap and produce together for the next four years. The teens performed and released music together as ‘Bassmint Productions’ and 'Soul Intent' when they were in high school and can be found performing together on early demos.    A memorial is being held next week for the MC who came to Shady’s defence when he was accused of being a racist in 2003 for using the N-word in a track saying: “Marshall Mathers is not a racist, Although the songs were in bad taste, they were not intended to be taken seriously or even heard and do not represent the true sentiments of Eminem.”
