Gideon with osaze ,Gideon ,Gideon with Jesse jagz     Gideon Mikel Yobo ,the younger brother of super eagles player and captain   Joseph Yobo is now a gospel musician .     Gideon who currently lives in liverpool graduated last year from a top uk university with a masters degree in oil and gas Management.      He ventured into full time gospel rap music and performs with the name sparrowjay.He recently released his debut album and it's getting  good airplay on Uk major radio stations.    Gideon who  manages some of joseph 's businesses in london and turkey also plays football  for Frontline Church in the English FA National Christian League.

   Nigeria Football Federation will today in Kaduna honour the Captain of the Super Eagles, Mr. Joseph Yobo   f or his immense contributions to Nigeria football and particularly his record-equalling senior team cap.       Joseph Yobo will receive an all-glass plaque from NFF President Aminu Maigari for his record-equalling feat, as his appearance on Tuesday in the international friendly match against the Chipolopolo will be his 86th for the Senior National Team of Nigeria, matching the previous achievement of Mudashiru Babatunde Lawal and Kanu nwankwo “We have deep respect for Joseph Yobo’s outstanding contributions to Nigeria football, his patriotism and his humility”, NFF President Aminu Maigari said in Abuja.      Tuesday’s international friendly against Zambia means so much to Yobo, who will not only equal the previous record but will also now look to breaking it in his very next appearance for the Super Eagles.      The opposition is also, coincidentally, Zambia, against which Yo

   President Goodluck Jonathan has listed 364 Nigerians to receive the 2011 national honours.       Acccording to Vanguard , Nigeria’s football captain, Joseph Yobo, 1984 bronze medalist Peter Konyegachi and Commonwealth medalist Mariam Usman are  honoured with the   Member of the Order of the Niger, MON.  Nollywood stars are also honoured. Among them are Genevieve Nnaji, Stephanie Okereke, Olu Jacobs and Kanayo O Kanayo who are receiving the Member of the Federal Republic, MFR award.       Mr. Osita Iheme popularly known as Pawpaw of the Aki and Pawpaw fame is also honoured with MFR. Chinedu Ikedieze known as Aki was honoured last year.
