    Nigerian-German soul singer Nneka has released her third album Soul is heavy in Nigeria.      The african women's development funds ambassador who recently completed her tour of african countries and united states released the album in europe last september    The soul is heavy album contains a new single featuring rapper ikechukwu and  is now available on the streets in Nigeria.   Nigerian-German soul singer Nneka  had an intimate photoshoot and interview with MTV IGGY  .she talked on her recently released  soul is heavy album " If there were no pain, there would be no inspiration. So it’s coming from a dark place, I would say. But I like the dark. I’ve understood that within the darkness, you can always take something from it. Nneka performing at AWDF House     Nigerian soul singer Nneka Egbuna has been appointed African women's development funds Ambassador (AWDF) for the arts .     The announcement was made by  AWDF's Interim CEO, Theo Sowa on feb.16,2012  at an event held in accra ghana as part of its 10th anniversary and to welcome the musician and activist  as AWDF's Ambassador for the Arts.  The CEO explained why AWDF’s new strategic plan included ‘Arts, Culture and Sports’ as a new grant making thematic area, “ Art can touch the souls as well as the minds of countless people, inspiring passion, anger, joy and other emotions that can catalyse action in ways that court cases and academic lectures and even protest marches may never achieve… Arts – traditional or modern – are integral to our cultural lives… and changes in social, economic and political arenas will never truly take root without parallel changes in our cultural norms, beliefs and practices…we can and...

   Nigerian Soul Singer Nneka Egbuna is ready to tour African countries ,United states and Canada .    She will perform in four african countries-Kenya,Rwanda,Uganda,Tanzania between February 4 and 11 before heading to perform in  vancouver ,canada, March 6.     Nneka will continue the tour in the states -Seattle,Portland,San Francisco ,West Hollywood and houston on march 7,8,10,11and 18 respectively.       Nneka released her third studio album 'Soul is Heavy' last september .

      Nigerian-German soul singer Nneka Egbuna known as Nneka  has released  her third studio abum soul is heavy today 26th September 2011 . The first single and video " My home " from the album was released last week  and the album contains other tracks like God Knows why featuring black thought of The roots .
