     Whitney Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown struck back at claims he was responsible for getting the pop star hooked on drugs or that he somehow played a role in her cocaine-fueled death in February.     "I'm not the one that got Whitney on drugs, at all," Brown said in an interview to be aired this week on the "Today" show on U.S. television network NBC. "I'm not the reason she's gone ," he added.     In his first TV interview since the singer died, Brown, 43, told "Today" show host  Matt Lauer  that he had been off drugs for seven years and was hurt to hear that Houston had been using cocaine.    " I was hurt ... because, you know, me being off of narcotics for the last seven years - I felt that she was, you know, I didn't know she was struggling with it still. Bobby Brown      An attorney for Bobby Brown has entered a no contest plea for the singer to one count of drunken driving stemming from an arrest last month.    Brown was sentenced to three years of informal probation and a 90-day alcohol education course.    Brown's lawyer Tiffany Feder entered the plea and confirmed the remaining driving under the influence count was dismissed.   The former New Edition singer and ex-husband of Whitney Houston was arrested March 26 after he was spotted talking on a mobile phone without a hands free kit.

Brown pled not guilty in a Van Nuys courtroom on Monday morning to the charges. He allegedly blew a .12, but the legal limit in California is .08. The judge ordered Brown not to consume any alcohol until the case is resolved.        Brown, 43, Ex-husband of  late pop diva Whitney Houston, was pulled over March 26 in Reseda after he was spotted talking on his cellphone. After taking a field sobriety test, he was arrested and charged. He faces charges of driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08% and driving with a suspended license, according to prosecutors. He faces a maximum of a year in county jail if convicted.

      Bobby brown was charged Wednesday with three misdemeanor charges including drunken driving, two days after his afternoon arrest in suburban Los Angeles.   Brown faces two DUI-related counts and another charge that he was driving on a suspended license.One of the counts alleged the R&B singer had a blood alcohol level of more than .08, which is the level at which is presumed to be driving under the influence.      The agency said Brown was initially stopped because he was seen talking on a cellphone without a hands-free unit, but the officer suspected the singer was impaired. Brown failed a field sobriety test, according to the CHP.    Brown faces up to six months in jail on the DUI counts if convicted. His first court appearance is scheduled for April 16.

Whitney and daughter      Bobbi Kristina Brown , the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown has been released from hospital   after ambulance was called to the  Beverly Hilton Hotel , where  Bobbi Kristina  was staying with her mother, in response to a concern about her health.
