Oprah Winfrey has  not  been arrested — she’s in self-quarantine like many others amid the coronavirus pandemic. Early Wednesday morning, the TV icon and OWN honcho took to Twitter — where her name was trending — to slam the false internet rumor that she had been arrested for a role in a global sex trafficking ring. Winfrey, 66, called it an “awful FAKE” rumor and “NOT TRUE.” She said she hadn’t “been raided, or arrested.” In fact, she just been at home “sanitizing and self distancing with the rest of the world.” Just got a phone call that my name is trending.                                                                 Oprah hugs bobbi kristina     Media Mogul, Oprah Winfrey sat down with whitney houston's only daughter Bobbi Kristina , Patricia Houston and other family members.    Bobbi Kristina Brown said she's " doing as good as I possibly can ", and recalled the tender last moments she shared with her superstar mother before her sudden death last month. Jay Z and Oprah     The A-List Couple  Beyonce  and  Jay Z  have reportedly chosen the media mogul  Oprah winfrey  as the godmother of their daughter Blue Ivy Carter.      Mediatakeout reports that   Oprah has become a close personal friend to the couple, so it was a no-brainer for them that they would choose her to provide guidance to Blue.     While Kanye West was rumoured to be a godfather,  Jay-Z’s pal, T yran “Ty Ty” Smith ,has been chosen as Blue's godfather, the website reports, noting the power couple wanted to make sure their godparents weren't blood-related.     The couple welcomed Blue Ivy on January 8 in Newyork city.

Oprah with the Girls     Media Mogul, Oprah Winfrey is set to graduate her first set of Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls tommorow saturday 14th January 2011.    Oprah opened the school which took $40 Million and six years to build  in January ,2007   on  52 acres in the small town of Henley-on-Klip, Johannesburg, South Africa.    Of the nearly 3,000 applicants, 152 of the country's brightest young girls were selected to attend the boarding school.     72 students will be graduating on Saturday and a ll are headed to universities in  South Africa  and the United States to pursue such studies as medicine, law, engineering and economics.   The school currently has about 400 students. © celebregion

      Oprah Winfrey received an honorary Oscar for her charitable work on Saturday in what she called an unimaginable moment for a black woman who grew up poor in Mississippi and rose to the top of Hollywood stardom.      The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences annually bestows its Governors Awards on people who have made an impact in the industry.
