        BBA Winner karen Igho has refuted engagement rumour that spread like wildfire on blogs and social media.    Speaking through her publicist, Karen says she has   followed with intrigue in the past few days, rumours and gist circulating her supposed ‘Engagement to a Mystery man’ following her tweets on Twitter.  "I have requested that this news statement be made available to the public on the matter. I appreciates the curiosity and goodwill displayed by my fans, critics and friends in the media regarding her affairs; i however prefers to keep details on my ‘relationship’ intentions away from the public glare until when appropriate. However, to clear the air on the alleged tweets, they were random thoughts from me  after an admirer and fan proposed to me. brad pitt and angelina jolie   After several years as a couple,  Angelina Jolie and brad pitt  are engaged. Pitt's manager confirmed the news to AP .     Cynthia  Pett-Dante  said that there isn't a wedding date "at this time." She also said that the engagement "is a promise for the future."Pitt and jolie  have three adopted children and three biological children. Pett-Dante also said that "their kids are very happy."

    Hollywood actress, Halle Berry is now engaged to French actor Olivier Martinez . Martinez ,46, proposed with an emerald-and-diamond ring from Gurhan over the holidays .     Berry, 45, who has a 3-year-old daughter,  Nahla , with ex-boyfriend  Gabriel Aubry , has been married twice before. She dated model Aubry for nearly five years before splitting in April 2010.    She wed former baseball player David Justice in 1993 and divorced four years later. She then married R&B singer Eric Benet in 2001, only to separate in 2003 and finalize their divorce in 2005.

   American singer/songwriter   John legend is now engaged to his four year girlfriend,model chrissy teigen . The singer's publicist said Tuesday that Legend proposed to his girlfriend, , recently in the Maldives.  "John Legend and his girlfriend, model Chrissy Teigen, got engaged over the holidays while vacationing in the Maldives," Legend's rep, Cindi Berger , tells  PEOPLE MAG.     Legend has won nine Grammys and released four albums. Teigen was named "rookie of the year" in the Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue last year and  also has a food blog.The both have been dating since 2007. John Legend turns 33 today  December 28.

The information reaching us now is  that MTV base VJ Cynthia Okpala has just got engaged to her friend and partner Ozoemena Mbanefo , with plans to exchange vows before year-end. Okpala, who won the MTV base VJ search in 2007 has been dating Mbanefo for a while – before he proposed on June 12 during a group church outing. ‘We have our pastors’ blessings already and we’re already working towards a date,’ said Cynthia who’s getting ready to tape her new MTV base show, MTV base.IQ Sweetened B y Buttermint later in the month.  The bubbly bride-to-be will be back on our TV screens on DStv, STV and AIT from August 2010.
