    President Buhari has expressed his concern over the spread of #Covid19 within the last few weeks. In a nationwide broadcast, the president announced the extension of the total lockdown of Lagos and FCT for another two weeks starting 11:59pm, April 13, 2020.

    The First Lady Her Excellency Aisha Buhari has posted a photo hugging her daughter who has been in isolation for the past 14 days.    She came back from the UK and was adviced to isolate to know if she would  exhibit the symptoms of Coronavirus.  She wrote : Verified It is a thing of joy & gratitude to Almighty God to reunite with my daughter after she had been in isolation for 14 days immediately she landed in Nigeria. While I’m wishing all those infected for a speedy recovery, I pray for the end of this pandemic. .  #AbujaScaleUp

       President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation on Sunday evening, his spokesman has said.    The broadcast, scheduled for 7pm, will be on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), according to Femi Adesina.   He asked all television, radio and other electronic media outlets to hook up to the networks.
