    The Lagos-based correspondent for CNN , Christian purefoy has left the news network .Christian made it known earlier today on twitter by tweeting ;     "Dear all, i have now moved on from CNN -I'D like to thank everyone for the support over the last seven years!But this is not the end."     Christian purefoy has anchored programmes like CNN African voices which has featured many nigerian celebrities like Genevieve Nnaji, Asa, cobhams asuquo , pastor adeboye and many more.He also covered Nigeria elections in 2011 all over lagos and some other parts of the country . CNN Lists 2face, Asa and Nneka Among Africa's Ten Biggest Music stars

        CNN international recently made a list on Africa's ten biggest music stars . The list was determined by fame ,fanbase , number of concerts the artistes have performed across the world .Nigerian Music stars   Asa , Nneka and 2face were listed first ,third and fourth respectively .    Nigerian Soul singer and song writer , Bukola Elemide popularly known as Asa will feature and   be the star guest of this weekend’s CNN African Voices sponsored by leading telecom operator, Globacom.       The 30-minute programme will be on air today at 11.30 a.m., with repeat broadcasts at 4.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. There will be further repeats at 2.30 a.m., 10 a.m., and 7.30 p.m. on Sunday, at 11.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Monday, and at 6.30 a.m. on Tuesday. © celebregion
