    Super eagles player and former captain, John Mikel Obi has announced his retirement from the National team.   The player's last outing with the team was the Afcon 2019 in which the Super eagles came 3rd after beating Tunisia.     Obi joined the national under 17 team in 2003. 

DJ Neptune dishes out the official video to his newly released single "OJORO" featuring new school king Flash, and the legendary koko master D'Banj. Ojoro serves as the second single off DJ Neptune's forth coming album [ Greatness II #Sounds Of Neptune], schedule for release later in the year. Singer Yemi Alade was at the premiere of the Disney's 'The Lion King' in europe. At the event, she met Beyonce and Jay Z and exchange pleasantries.      Beyoncé has revealed the tracklist for her new  Lion King -inspired album  The Lion King: The Gift . Along with several new Beyoncé songs, the LP features contributions from Kendrick Lamar, JAY-Z, Childish Gambino, 070 Shake, Tierra Whack, Pharrell, and more. In addition, there’s a song with JAY and Bey’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Check out the the tracklist and cover art below. The Lion King: The Gift , executive produced by Beyoncé, is out this Friday, July 19 via Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records. The soundtrack to  The Lion King  arrived last week. As with  The Gift , it includes Beyoncé’s new song “ Spirit .” The CGI live-action remake of the  The Lion King  hits theaters July 18.        Singer R. Kelly, already facing sexual abuse charges brought by Illinois prosecutors, was arrested in Chicago Thursday on a federal grand jury indictment listing 13 counts including sex crimes and obstruction of justice. U.S. Attorney’s office spokesman Joseph Fitzpatrick said the R&B singer was taken into custody about 7 p.m. local time and was being held by federal authorities. He was arrested after the federal indictment was handed down earlier Thursday in federal court for the Northern District of Illinois. “The counts include child porn, enticement of a minor and obstruction of justice,” Fitzpatrick said, adding that further details would be released Friday. The arrest was the second time this year that Kelly has been taken into custody in Chicago on sex charges. The 52-year-old Grammy winner,   was arrested in February  on 10 counts in Illinois involving four women, three of whom were minors when the alleged abuse occurred. He pleaded not guilty to those

Super eagles of Nigeria has qualified for the Semi-final at the ongoing African cup of Nations.      The eagles defeated the Bafana Bafana of South Africa with 2 goals to 1.   Samuel Chukwueze and William Troost-Ekong scored  the two goals. Congrats to Team naija
