Seventeen years since the release of his debut album  Get Rich or Die Tryin’ , the multi-faceted rapper-actor-mogul received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (Jan. 30). Friends including Eminem and Dr. Dre were on hand for the star-studded ceremony near the intersection of Hollywood and Vine. Following some words from former Starz CEO Chris Albrecht, Eminem took the stage to recall the first time he met a young Curtis Jackson. “It just kinda felt like he’s gonna be a star. The way he carried himself, swagger, everything. It just seemed like he was the whole package,” said the Detroit rapper, who signed 50 to Shady Records. Em also reflected on their friendship. “I’m here today because this is not only a business partner to me, it’s one of the best friends I’ve ever known in the world and I would say it’s much more fun to be his friend than it is to be his enemy, ’cause this guy is fucking relentless. And he won’t stop.”

Tyler Perry has officially found himself among the stars.  On Wednesday, the acclaimed director, writer and actor was there for the dedication of his star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. "For anyone whose dreams may be on life support, I want you to walk past this star in particular and know that I've been there," Perry said This recognition comes amid a prolific career in entertainment.

     Usher Raymond, Jennifer hudson, viola davis ,Helen Mirren, James Franco and the Backstreet Boys are among the famous folks getting stars on Hollywood's Walk of Fame in 2013.       Actress Marg Helgenberger and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the new 24 inductees Friday at a press conference on Hollywood Boulevard's star-lined sidewalk. A committee selects celebrities eligible for a star and those who accept pay $30,000 in costs and fees.       Other entertainers slated for a star next year are Javier Bardem, , Simon Baker, Bryan Cranston, Jane Lynch, Katey Segal, Matthew Perry, Ellen DeGeneres and Olympia Dukakis; performers Penn & Teller; makeup artist Rick Baker; filmmaker Ron Howard; radio personalities Steve Harvey and "Shotgun" Tom Kelly; and musicians Jane's Addiction, thanlia . Janis Joplin and Luther Vandross will also get posthumous stars.

Jennifer Aniston gets walk of fame star    Actress Jeniffer Aniston was honored with a star on Hollywood's walk of fame on wednesday,,the first of the "Friends"actor to receive the emblem of celebrity that she described as "surreal"   "I was born in Sherman Oaks, California. I am a California girl through and through, and I'm sure this is always just sort of been in the back of my mind," said Aniston at the ceremony.      " It probably wasn't even a dream, it was one of my wildest dreams. I don't think that I ever even thought that this would be here, this day. So I am utterly humbled and grateful," the "Friends" actress told her fans and friends. Jennifer Aniston and father     Aniston was joined by her father John Aniston and "Wanderlust" co-stars including boyfriend Justin Theroux as she received her star.

    Paul McCartney finally got his own star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame on Thursday, becoming the last of the four Beatles to get the honor.     McCartney's star was placed outside the Capitol Records building, alongside those of band members John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.   "In Liverpool, when we were kids and listening to Buddy Holly and all the other rock and roll greats, I would have never thought the day would come when I'd be getting a star on the Walk of Fame. I thought it was an impossible thing to happen. But here we are today," McCartney, 69, said. "I couldn't have done it without a certain three boys, so I want to say thanks to those guys, John, George and Ringo ," he said.         The Beatles were given a star as a group in 1998, more than 25 years after they split up. Lennon and Harrison were given their individual stars several years after their deaths in 1980 and 2001 respectively, while Starr got his in 2010.

   The best-selling R and B group of all time Boy II Men received the first Hollywood Star of 2012 along Hollywood s Walks of Fame and the 2456th star of all time as they celebrate their 20th anniversary.  The event took place yesterday January 5,2011 and  Singer/producer babyface ,Jimmy Jam,terry lewis were present to honour their friends.     Former member of the group ,Micheal McCary who left the group in 2003 were also present  joining Shawn Stockman, Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris .    The trio, who released 20th anniversary album  Twenty  last december, will embark on a 17-city European tour January 13.
