  Prominent songstress,Taylor Swift has just been given the title 'Billboard' magazine's 2014 Woman of the Year.The only artist to ever receive that honor more than once.   Described as an influential singer, Taylor Swift has recorded astounding musical success on the Billboard charts.Her successful musical career has charted 60 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 the most of any female artist.She deserves to be the 2014 Billboard Woman of the Year for the second time.

       Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are at each others' throats and we have got wind of what led to the beef.Taylor is accusing Katy of being a thief because three of Taylor's dancers have joined Katy's tour. Taylor felt betrayed because she became very close to the dancers and considered them family. Now,this is the plot as we have it. The dancers had actually worked with Katy first, but when Katy's tour ended several years ago they needed work. So they signed up as dancers during Taylor's tour.We're told the dancers told Taylor up front and they did not want to sign for the full tour -- they wanted a 30-day out, and we're told it's because they were just waiting for Katy to go back on tour.When Katy hit the stage again, they gave their 30-day notice, but Taylor lost her temper and fired them.This happened a year ago but we're told Taylor held a grudge, which boiled over when she wrote a song -- "Bad Blood" -- alluding to Katy

Taylor swift   Taylor swift   is No. 1 again: The singer is the top act on BillBoard's Top 40 Money Makers" list.    Swift earned $36 million in 2011, according to the Billboard list released Friday.U2 was second with $32 million. Kenny chesney , lady gaga , and lil wayne  rounded out the top 5.      Artists' rankings were based on U.S. income sources from tours, albums sales and publishing royalties. Billboard said in a press release that it didn't factor in "sponsorships, merchandise sales or synchronization deals."     Adele was tenth on the list. Though she canceled most of her U.S. tour due to issues with her vocal cords, her album "21" sold more than 5 million units in 2011. Including sales from this year, "21" has sold nearly 8 million copies.      Justin bieber and Kanye west were 35th and 39th with  $5.5M and  $5.4M respectively.

     Rapper Nicki Minaj and singer Taylor swift   joined the host of 2012 Grammy awards ,rapper LL COOL J for the Grammys promotional photoshoot.  The 54th  Grammy Awards  will be held on February 12,  2012  at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Taylor and nicki at  Billboard honor last month    Popular country singer Taylor swift , rapper Nicki Minaj and singer bruno mars have been announced as performers at   the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, which will air on Feb. 12 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.      Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj  who were honored as Billboard's  Woman of the Year and Rising Star of the Year  in december  2011 are up for three awards and four awards, respectively.   Kanye West  led all artists with seven nods ,Nigeria's femi kuti was also nominated for the third time in the world music category .

   Taylor Swift won the top honor at the Country Music Association awards show last night in Nashville.Tennessee taking the trophy for entertainer of the year for the second time.      The 21-year-old country pop crossover artist, whose "Speak Now" album is one of the year's best-sellers, beat veterans Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and the favorite, Jason Aldean, in her only win of the night.     Taylor swift the four-time Grammy winner and biggest selling albums artist in any genre for the past 12 months, has been chosen to receive the coveted Woman of the Year Award at the 2011 Billboard Women in Music event on Dec. 2 in New York City.     The 21-year-old singer-songwriter is the youngest artist to ever receive the honor, and it comes on the heels of earning several 2011 Billboard Music Awards, among them Top Country Album for the five-time platinum selling "Speak Now."     Swift has spent the past year on the Speak Now World Tour in support of her third album,  which debuted last October atop the Billboard 200, selling over a million copies in its first week. All 14 tracks on the country-pop juggernaut were composed by Swift, and she made Hot 100 history by charting 11 songs off the album in a single week.
