    American rapper, Rick Ross who has been scheduled to rock the annual Calabar  festival on a night tagged  Calabar Rocks Night  December 28, will  not be around to perform.  Allhiphop.com reports Superstar rapper Rick Ross has been forced to cancel a high-profile appearance in Nigeria, Africa. Rick Ross was supposed to perform during the Cross River State Calabar Christmas Festival, on December 28. Although Rick Ross was forced to scrap several shows in October due to a pair of seizures, the rapper’s reps denied his health was the reason behind the latest cancellation.     American Music stars Rick Ross and sean Kingston , are among the dignitaries lined up to perform in this year’s edition of the calabar carnival.      Jamaican-American singer, Sean Kingston who recently survived Jet-ski accident would perform at a Reggae Night scheduled to hold on the 16th of December , at the U. J. Esuene Sports Stadium.Nigerian artistes like  King Wadada, Nyore,and many others would also perform on the same stage     American rapper, Rick Ross, would rock the city on Calabar Rocks Night on December 28, alongside the likes of P-Square, Banky W, Wizkid, Ojb Jezreel, Stunt and Julius Agwu at the U. J. Esuene Sports Stadium.     Also to perform in this year’s Calabar Festival is Kool and the Gang, an American jazz, R&B, soul, and funk group. The soul and funk group would perform at the Governor’s Masked Fete on December 20, at the Tinapa Water Park. 

       America’s WWE prowrestling icon, Hulk Hogan, has accepted to lead top WWE superstars from the United States of America, Europe, Asia and Africa to the Universal Promotional Wrestling Federation (UPWF) World heavyweight title defence of US based Nigerian world heavyweight champion, Offor Ositadinma, who is fondly called ‘De Ultimate Commander’.    A spokesman of the organizing committee for the championship told journalists over the weekend that the event will feature, among other exciting bouts, a world heavyweight title defence involving the UPWF champion, Nigeria’s Osita Offor, also known as De Ultimate Commander, against an American challenger.      According to the spokesman of the organizing committee, Etim Okima, apart from Hulk Hogan, the event will feature such other wrestling super stars as Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Slam Shady, Rick Fuller and the tag team partnership of the Powers of Pain, among others.   Oki...
