   Nollywood actress susan peters will be launching a public awareness campaign on Asthma & Diabetes for children on May 30 ,2012.       The campaign  tagged Benue pikin Initiative will take place at Lagos state Motherless babies home,lekki Lagos.       The Campaign will be part of her birthday celebration which is also May 30 . As part of the celebration ,the Benue state born actress will also be releasing her official look Book which is a collection of all her fabulous red-carpet moments, capturing the elegance ,sophistication,taste and style of the actress.

Paa olagookun passed away on March 5,2012 at University college Hospital ,Ibadan after a brief illness .

    Today May 3,2012, Nollywood star actress Genevieve Nnaji turns 33. Genny was born may 3,1979 in mbaise, imo state Nigeria. She started her acting career as a child actress in the then popular television soap opera  Ripples   at the age of 8.In 1998 at the age of 19 she was introduced into the growing Nigerian film industry with the movie “Most Wanted.  Genevieve has starred in almost 130 films till date .      Apparently,there was an interview going round in which nollywood actress tonto dikeh called igbo men nosy and other things .The report spread like wildfire but Tonto  has refuted the fabricated story .   Tonto tweeted :" I waz told I granted an interview with punch Newspaper sayin Igbo Men are nosy? #Confusedface# When Did this interview take place?     Veteran nollywood star actress , Shola shobowale is not happy at the moment as she  lost her father ,pa olagookun  earlier today(Monday)  .Pa olagookun died in UCH ibadan after a brief illness and shola is currently at the hospital.      The mother of three who hails from Ifon ,ondo state  has acted in many yoruba and english movies   .She relocated to London few years ago   .   The Funeral arrangements for pa olagookun will be announced later .

    Chikelue iloanusi ,Nigerian ex-footballer and ex-husband of nollywood star actress , stephanie okereke has finally talked about his failed marriage to the actress .    He disclosed to a national newspaper in an exclusive interview.Read the excerpts below.      Chike was asked the main reason they broke up , "she sued me for N100m,now the court has thrown out the case ". He continued:   " If you say I’m married to somebody in America, you have to prove that I have not dissolved the marriage. You have to show the court the document in your possession that proves you are telling the truth about the marriage. But she didn’t show the court anything. The court said it would allow everybody to go their own way. It said the marriage did not exist, since it did not produce any issue. She claimed she was feeding me, yet she sued me for N100m where would she have expected me to get the money to pay her? This is a new year. I don’t want to talk about this girl. Life goes on.

     Nollywood  star actress, Chika Ike , has cheated death as she recently survived a ghastly car accident that would have claimed her life.    According to PMNEWS ,The actress was said to be returning from a movie location with her driver when her wine colour 2010 Honda CRV car crashed and damaged beyond repairs.     The actress said,“I can’t explain how I escaped unhurt because everybody that came to the accident scene could not believe the occupants of the vehicle survived.     Nollywood actress, bimbo Akinsanya is standing trial  for alleged conspiracy to murder one Reverend Pat Ogechi Dennah.     The Yoruba movie actress was alleged to have on 28 October, 2011 at 20, Samuel Street, Akowonjo, Egbeda, a suburb of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, conspired to commit felony by wounding Reverend Dennah. One of the charges reads:   “ That you, Bimbo Akinsanya and others now at large on 28 October, 2011 at about 2030hrs at No. 20, Samuel Street, Akowonjo, Egbeda, Lagos, in the Lagos magisterial district, did point Rev. Pat Ogechi Dennah to a boy yet to be identified, to kill her and the said boy shot her with a gun and wounded her on her left shoulder and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 338 of the criminal code cap C17 Vol. 11 laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2003.”     At the court yesterday 30th November,2011, the prosecutor told the court that the victim was still receiving treatment from the wounds he sustained from the gunshot.     He pra

According to News-one,the incident took place a few hours before she embarked on a trip to Paris where she is currently celebrating her birthday with close friend and actress Yvonne Okoro.  “At about 12:30 midnight Friday, she had to be rushed to the hospital for an injection. She was told it was food poisoning,” However, she confirmed the story on her blackberry status Saturday afternoon, saying, “One birthday gift at 12:30 was an injection.
