    Chocolate city rapper, Iceprince zamani performed on sunday June 24 ,2012 at the BBC Radio  1 's Hackney Weekend. Ice performed Superstar and Oleku on Radio 1 Xtra's stage to thousands of people . D'banj had performed earlier (June 23).The two-day  music festival ended on sunday with Rihanna performing many of her hit songs .check out iceprince's performance below.

D'banj and Ikechukwu backstage at the BBC Hackney weekend     D'banj performed at the Ongoing BBC Radio 1's hackney weekend 2012 yesterday(June 23) in front of over 50,000 people  .      Ikechukwu and K-Swith joined him on stage to perform singles like Olohun maje ,Oliver twist and suddenly .    The weekend was kicked off by singer leona lewis and many stars like rita ora, trey songz , ed sheeran,nicki minaj  ,performed after .         Nigerian rapper Ice prince  will  be joining the likes of Jay Z, Rihanna, Nas, Wretch 32 and Dbanj to grace the biggest ever free ticketed event in London BBC Radio 1 Hackney weekend to perform his smash hit single Magician with Gyptian in June 2012.       The Hackney weekender which will be the highlight of the London 2012 festival will take place on the 23-24 June 2012 featuring six stages and over 80 international and UK acts. Being the first Afrobeats artist to have his debut single (Oleku) play listed on BBC radio 1xtra, Ice Prince will be will be performing on the 1xtra stage headlined by Nas.    Ice Prince commented: “ To be given the opportunity to perform on such a stage with some of my icons is exciting and a blessing.    Pop- Star Rihanna has been confirmed as the second headliner of BBC Radio 1's Hackney weekend , a huge outdoor festival set to take place as part the of 2012 london Olympic Games.       Rihanna will headline the event's second night (June 24), with  Jay-Z  closing the show on the event's opening night (June 23).    The event will take place on London's Hackney Marshes on June 23–24 and will hold up to 100,000 people.     Among the other acts confirmed to play  are Nigerian music star D'banj ,David guetta, dappy,jessie j,emeli sande ,tinie tempah and leona lewis.
