    Former Mavin Record's artiste, Reekado Banks has begged the Government to open borders. The Rora crooner made it known that he has been in Gabon since the shutdown of borders started.  He tweeted :  Smiling like everything is okay but deep down, Gabon ti su mi. E ba mi shi border ejo

  Burna Boy was in a good mood today responding to his fans on twitter. One of the fans asked who he would like to have a hit battle with and Burna responded,   I don’t really know what a hit battle is but I’m willing to go toe to toe with ANY worthy challenger . Lyrically , musically , physically. However they want it. Former Mavin Records Artist, Reekado Banks replied that he is available for the challenge, He tweeted i@m game that energy let's get it. And the RESPONSE OUCH !!!

   After 5 years in Mavin Records, Reekado Banks has announced his exit from Mavin Records.      The artist who was signed to Mavin Records in february, 2014 alongside Dija and Korede Bello revealed he's leaving the Don Jazzy led record label on instagram.     Reekado Banks released his debut album "Spotlight" under Mavin Records on september 1, 2016.       Read his announcement below.

On the  issue of the Arrest Of Reekado Banks and his Manager arrest The singer, through his manager has been given Monday as the final date To Pay Back the Performance Fee We reported yesterday that Reekado Banks’ brand was dragged to police custody over controversy involving his manager and a Media Personality at the Ogba Police Area Command in Lagos. Our findings revealed that Reekado Banks was contracted through his manager to perform at a wedding in PortHarcourt. But the singer failed to come and he also refused to give full refund of the money he collected. Thus, Uwa Idahosa, a Benin Based Media Personality and comedian who contracted the singer on behalf of the couple, dragged Reekado to court but the singer’s manager said they could not refund the full amount, but could part with N800,000. It has also been revealed that the Police Authorities have given the singer and his manager, Temi an ultimatum till Monday to return the sum of 2million naira to the couple.

Mavin records artist,reekado banks has made it clear to his fans not to compare him to pop star ,wizkid.  He tweeted that it is disrespectful to wizkid because he(wizkid) paved the way for people like him to come to the music industry
