Box Office top chart movie, Black Panther has become the first Marvel movie to featured on the cover of TIME Magazine, with Chadwick Boseman on it. Its likely going to be a good year for African related movies, or what do you think?.

The recently released Marvel Movie, Black Panther has received wide recognition around the world especially from africa. The movie is the 18th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) , and most importantly, Black Panther is the first black superhero to get his own standalone movie. Chadwick Boseman, the lead actor was speaking at a Beverly Hills news conference along with director Ryan Coogler, co-stars Michael B Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira and the rest of the cast the morning after Monday’s glittering Hollywood premiere. Popular Hollywood actor, Mark Salling, best known for his role as Noah "Puck" Puckerman on Fox's musical comedy-drama, "Glee," has died, according to his attorney.  His attorney Michael Proctor said in a statement to CNN: "I can confirm that Mark Salling passed away early this morning.Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment." May 2016, The 35 actor was indicted in on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography. He pleaded guilty to one count of possession of the material involving a prepubescent minor and was scheduled for sentencing March 7. As part of a plea agreement, Salling was expected to be sentenced to four years to seven years in federal prison, followed by a 20-year period of supervised release and registration as a sex offender.

Stories of sexual assaults among celebrities have daily been popping it ugly head as one of the recent ones is that British singer-songwriter, Olusegun Adeola Samuel, better known as Seal, has been accused by his former neighbour Tracy Birdsall of sexual assault; which the singer has denied. The singer is under investigation for sexual battery after his neighbor accused him of forcefully kissing and groping her in 2016. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department opened the investigation after the neighbor, Birdsall, who is an actress, claimed Seal forced himself on her in his kitchen in November 2016. She alleged that Seal “lunged” at her in his home, attempted to kiss her, groped her breasts, and belittled her – insinuating that she wanted sexual attention because of the way she dressed. She “demanded he stop.” She said he then convinced her to sit next to him on the couch, at which point he begin to “make fun of what she was wearing” and started groping her again. B

Seems the rumor of Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele casting in the upcoming Hollywood film "avengers" is true Funke played the role of a Dora Milaje member in the film directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. In the list of the cast, she is named as No. 70. The Nigerian actress plays as  a member of the Black Panther’s guards, the ‘Dora Milaje’ – who are a team of women who serve as the personal bodyguards of the Black Panther. The film is set for release 25 April in the Netherlands. The movie tells the story of how the Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. Funke Akindele was born on August 24, 1976 in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria as Akindele Olufunke Ayotunde. She is  known for  the popular Jenifa Diary , Agbefo (2006) and 13th Day: Ojó ketàlá (2005) and now she will add Avengers: Infinity War (2018) to her accolades.

Funke Akindele was included on the cast list of 2018 movie, "Avengers: Infinity War". It seems the  Nollywood actress will feature in the Marvel Comics  movie.The actress is yet to confirm this rumor. If the report concerning the actress' involvement is true, it will be the first time a Nigerian-born actor will appear in a Hollywood superhero movie. The movie,Avengers Infinity War which will feature the likes of Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson and some Hollywood top actors. also going to be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, has been set for a May 4, 2018, release.

          Oscar-winning actor/comedian Robin Williams Committed suicide early hours of monday August 11, 2014 . Robin who was 63  killed himself in Tiburon, in Northern California.       TMZ reported that authorities found Williams' body inside his home.and was unresponsive.   Williams struggled with cocaine and alcohol abuse in the early '80s but was sober for 20 years with the exception of a stint in rehab in 2006  . The details of the suicide reveals  Williams  tried to slit his wrist with a pocket knife but when that suicide attempt failed he hanged himself with a belt.      The Marin County Deputy Coroner says Williams was at home alone Monday when he tried slashing his left wrist, but it only left "acute superficial cuts."
