Is there trouble in paradise for newlyweds Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty? Nicki Minaj , 37, has dropped “Mrs. Petty” from her Twitter and Instagram profiles and replaced it with her latest single “Yikes” instead.  Her husband  Kenneth Petty , 42, was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in Los Angeles and later appeared in federal court.       The last time Kenneth appeared on Nicki’s Instagram was on Feb. 27, 2020 on a trip they took to Trinidad.  Now fans are wondering if Nicki and her teenage sweetheart have called it quits on their brief marriage.

    The brother of rapper Nicki Minaj was sentenced Monday to 25 years to life in prison for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl at his Long Island home. A judge convicted Jelani Maraj of predatory sexual assault and child endangerment in November 2017. The victim testified during the trial that Maraj repeatedly raped her in 2015 while her mother was at work. Prosecutors have said DNA evidence recovered from the girl’s pajama pants was linked to Maraj. The girl’s younger brother also testified at the trial that he witnessed one assault. Maraj's attorney appealed conviction in 2018, claiming that there was jury misconduct. The judge ruled in October that the defense did not meet the necessary burden of proof. Maraj said in court Monday that he had an alcohol problem and asked for a “second chance." One of his attorneys said he suffered from health issues including hypertension, gout and anemia and requested the minimum sentence of 10 years to life. Maraj'

Kenneth Petty  was accused of attempting to rape a girl at knife point in 1994 and is a registered sex offender. Page Six now reports he was arrested for ignoring a stop sign in an unlicensed car in Nassau County and “was hit with a misdemeanor charge for operating an unlicensed vehicle along with infractions for failing to stop at the sign and driving with a suspended or revoked license.” Minaj has defended the relationship via social media and condemned fans who urged her to beware of Petty. She is yet to respond to this news.

       American female rapper Nicki Minaj's new video 'Anaconda has broken the Vevo Record .Vevo  announced  via its Twitter account that the video  has set a record for being watched 19.6 million times during the first 24 hours after its debut.   The previous record holder was  Miley Cyrus , whose ‘Wrecking Ball’ video received 19.3 million views after its debut in Sept. 2013.

The Queens femcee has become the first woman to have a number-one solo single on the iTunes chart, including her feature on Jessie J and Ariana Grande's "Bang Bang," Nicki is also the first female rapper to have two singles in the top two spots on iTunes simultaneously. Nicki was also tied with Michael Jackson with 50 hot 100 entries on Billboard and currently tied with Rod's stewart's on No.51.

    YMCMB rapper Nicki Minaj has deleted her twitter account after getting angry about her music being leaked online. The rapper who just topped  the Billboard 200 album chart with the new LP  Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded   became very  annoyed after fan site NickiDaily posted leaked tracks from the album, which made her vowed not to return to the social networking site.     In a series of tweets, she wrote: ' 'And that's exactly why I'm paying the barbz DUST right now! And deleting my twitter. Smdh - don't cry for me argentina. Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f***ing bye. A representative of the Network told TMZ that BET will not be broadcasting the video .The video directed by renowned director,Hype williams is no doubt too explicit for TV and the song contains lewd  lyrics.   Nicki debuted the video online on january 20 to avoid tampering with the video,she said   “Can’t premiere on a network b/c its important that my art is not tampered with, or compromised prior to you viewing it for the 1st time" The video has received over 20 Million Youtube views since.

A Florida education company recently Rappers  Lil wayne and Nicki Minaj with Teacher Of The Year Awards.
