The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has announced a total restriction of movement in Abuja, Lagos, and Ogun States. He said the restriction was to curb the community transmission of COVID-19 in the states where it is prevalent. He said this during a nationwide broadcast on Sunday. He said, “Based on the advice of the Federal Ministry of Health and the NCDC, I am directing the cessation of all movements in Lagos and the FCT for an initial period of 14 days with effect from 11pm on Monday, 30th March 2020.
