President Buhari's chief of staff, Abba Kyari is dead. The deceased had tested positive to the ravaging COVID-19, and had been receiving treatment. But he died on Friday, April 17, 2020. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.

          Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian might have split up a year ago, but the Keeping Up With The Kardashians couple are still considering having another child together. In the latest episode of the show, the pair are discussing whether to get rid of some of their daughter True Thompson's, who has just turned two, old toys. When Khloe explains what she wants to give away, Tristan responds, "[but what] if we have another girl and… have to buy it all over again?' "Who's having another girl with you?" Khloé replied, before Tristan explained, "Listen, I'm just saying, True does need a sibling.." Khloe then joked, "Right, so I might get some embryos and get a sibling. I might need to borrow some sperm or get some from you. We'll figure that out later. That's a whole other episode."

      Leeds United great Norman Hunter has died in hospital aged 76 after contracting coronavirus.    The tough-tackling centre-back, nicknamed 'Bites Yer Legs', was a key player in Leeds' most successful era.   He won two league titles during a 14-year first-team career at Elland Road, and was a non-playing member of England's 1966 World Cup-winning squad.   Hunter was admitted to hospital on 10 April after testing positive for coronavirus.   Leeds said Hunter's death leaves "a huge hole" in the family of the club. "His legacy will never be forgotten and our thoughts are with Norman's family and friends at this very difficult time," the club said  in a statement .

The couple - who have children Luna, four, and Miles, 23 months, together - have splurged $5.1 million on a 3,440 sq. ft abode that is situated very close to their current home in Beverly Hills.      Work on the "organic modern" property has just been complete and the wood and glass building features a Smart Home system to control the home's lights, audio and cameras from afar , while the luxury kitchen - which joins onto a spacious living room - boasts high-end Miele appliances and a large countertop. The house includes four bedrooms - including a master suite with a private balcony - and four bathrooms but it's unclear if and when the famous family are planning to move into it, or if they have bought it for other purposes.

       R. Kelly's first attempt to get out of jai l due to coronavirus fears didn't work, but he's going back to the well, claiming his medical crisis is even worse now, and insisting he won't skip town. The disgraced singer filed a renewed emergency motion asking to get released from lockup based on changed circumstances.  The judge denied his first release request earlier this month, saying the singer failed to explain how he wasn't still a flight risk.    Kelly claims if he tried to run he would be "the most obvious and recognizable person on the streets of Chicago, or anywhere else in the country, in light of the severe stay-at-home restrictions." According to the docs ... he'd also agree to 24/7 surveillance and GPS monitoring to make sure he doesn't go anywhere other than home or meet with anyone other than his lawyers. The judge is yet to make a decision.

    NCDC has unveiled actress Toyin Abraham as the new ambassador after dropping Funke Akindele. Akindele was arrested and charged to court for holding a birthday party in her home contradicting the social distancing order.       In a video posted on NCDC official twitter page, Abraham implores people to always wash their hands to avoid spreading the Covid-19.

      Runtown has revealed he just got stimulus payment from the US. President Trump approved the stimulus payment for taxpayers to cushion the effect of the Coronavirus Pandemic. However, Runtown said, despite being banned in the US, he received the payment of $1200. 

    A baby born with coronavirus in Peru is the second such case in the world, medics say. The newborn caught the virus through the placenta while he was in his mother’s womb.    But the mum had not been displaying Covid-19 symptoms and had no idea she was carrying the disease.Doctors are said to have discovered both mum and baby had coronavirus during hospital tests, when results came back positive.   The baby boy is said to be doing “well” after he was born by C-section yesterday at the Alto Mayo hospital in Moyobamba, in the country's northern San Martin Region.

     Chadwick Boseman posted a video to his Instagram account on Thursday, and fans of the "Black Panther" star have expressed their concern at his apparent weight loss.     Boseman was speaking about an initiative called Operation 42, which aims to help hospitals that serve African-American communities during the coronavirus pandemic. The project, which he is partnering with Thomas Tull on, will honor baseball legend Jackie Robinson, who Boseman played in the biopic "42." Comments on the video were focused on Boseman's apparent weight loss, with many users expressing shock at his appearance, commenting that he looked "thin," and asking: "Are you ok?" Several fans also asked whether he was losing weight for an upcoming film role.

      Their love story is the stuff of movies. Alfredo Pabatao was the son of a successful clothing retailer, Susana Galapate the daughter of a stableman who tended horses.  Both grew up in the same neighborhood in the Philippines. She lived in a modest, middle-class home, he in an ornate house that stood out with its marble accents.  They fell in love, against his parent's wishes, married in 1976 and later became the parents of five children.    The couple and their three youngest emigrated to the United States in 2001, eventually settling in Palisades Park.         Susana and Alfredo Pabatao died late last month after a one-week battle with the coronavirus. The couple, both health care workers, died four days apart at the same hospital, Hackensack Meridian's Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen.

      The International Monetary Fund approved $500 million on Monday to cancel six months of debt payments for 25 of the world’s most impoverished countries so they can help tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.    IMF Executive Director Kristalina Georgieva issued a statement saying the IMF executive board approved the immediate debt service relief for 19 African countries, Afghanistan, Haiti, Nepal, Solomon Islands, Tajikistan and Yemen. “This provides grants to our poorest and most vulnerable members to cover their IMF debt obligations for an initial phase over the next six months and will help them channel more of their scarce financial resources towards vital emergency medical and other relief efforts,” Georgieva said. She said the money will come from the IMF’s revamped Catastrophe Containment and Relief Trust, which will use recent pledges of $185 million from the United Kingdom and $100 million from Japan. She urged other donors to help replenish the trust’s resources.

     Prince Albert of Monaco’s recovery from coronavirus came just in time for Easter with his family.  The Prince, 62 appeared alongside wife Princess Charlene, 42, for the first time since testing positive for COVID-19 in a video shared on her Instagram page to celebrate Easter. The couple wished their followers a happy holiday in two languages: first French, then English. “In these difficult and troubled times, we simply wanted to wish you all,” Albert started before they said in unison, “Happy Easter.”
