 Australian actor chris hemsworth has been named the sexiest man alive by people magazine.     The actor, 31, thought it was "pretty funny" when he first heard the news  as did his wife, Spanish model Elsa Pataky, 38, whom he  wed in 2010 .     "I think you've bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house," he tells PEOPLE in this week's cover story. "I can just say to her, 'Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don't need to do the dishes anymore, I don't need to change nappies. I'm above that. I've made it now.' "

Beyonce     People magazine has named Beyonce as the World's Most Beautiful Woman for 2012. The 30-year-old R& B superstar tops the magazine's annual list of the "World's Most Beautiful" in a special double issue.      The announcement was made Wednesday. Commenting on her selection, Beyonce tells People: " I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this Earth. " Beyonce who is married to hip-hop mogul jay z  gave birth to  Blue Ivy Carter in January .      " She's just the cutest thin g," says the Grammy winner, who sings to her daughter and claims to "love" changing diapers. Does Blue resemble mom or dad? "She looks like Blue," the singer says. " She's her own person."     People magazine  has bestowed the "Hangover" star Bradley coopper with its "sexiest man alive" title.Cooper tells the magazine that his first reaction was to think that his mom would be "so happy" and that he's "decent-looking." The 36-year-old actor dated Renee Zellweger for two years and has recently been linked to Jennifer Lopez.      However, Cooper says he's single. Other actors who have received the "sexiest" label include   George clooney ,   Brad pitt ,   Johnny depp,   Hugh jackman  and   Ryan reynolds.
