The set of "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" was the latest to be struck by tragedy, when a crew member died following an accident during the New Orleans production. Crew member Mike Huber was tearing down the set Tuesday when the scissor lift he was working on tipped, leading to fatal injuries. Paramount issued the following statement to The Hollywood Reporter : “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the Huber family at this time." Paramount said the safety of its cast and crew is a top priority and it is "fully cooperating with all investigating agencies as they examine the circumstances surrounding this unusual accident." This marks the second recent on-set accident leading to the death of a crew member. In late October, one stuntman was killed and another was seriously injured on the Bulgarian set of the sequel to "The Expendables Paramount will release G.I. Joe 2 on June 29; it follows G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra , a hit
