        Adele is paying ex-husband Simon Konecki half Of Her £140 Million Fortune but   will be kept secret, according to reports.    The Sun claims that the singer’s request to keep details of the split out of the public eye was granted by a court in Los Angeles, California.    The paper reports that Adele, 31, and Konecki, 45, have agreed to share custody of their seven-year-old son Angelo, but any details regarding “financial, sales or other confidential business information” will not be made public.     A source told the publication that the former couple are “both committed to keeping the details as private as possible for the sake of their son” and are “trying to work out their issues.     The Someone Like You singer confirmed her split from Konecki in April 2019, when her representatives released a statement announcing that the pair are “committed to raising their son together lovingly,” adding: “As always they ask for privacy.”

     British singer Adele regained her place at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart for the 24th time on Wednesday with her Grammy-winning album "21," holding off new entries from Alan Jackson, The Beach Boys and Neil Young.       Adele's "21" sold 75,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan figures in its 68th week on the chartbuoyed by NBC's special "Adele Live in London," which aired on June 3.         The "Someone Like You" singer beat out debuts from three veterans of the music industry.Country crooner Alan Jackson debuted at No. 2 with his latest studio album "Thirty Miles West," selling 73,000 copies.       The Beach Boys made their highest debut since 1974, as their 29th studio album "That's Why God Made The Radio" entered at No. 3, selling 61,000 copies in its first week of release and kicking off the band's 50th anniversary celebration.      Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young

      Kelly Clarkson, Usher, Linkin Park and Nelly Furtado have joined the growing list of superstar performers set to dazzle the 2012 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, which airs live May 20 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET from the MGM Grand Arena.   Previously announced performers include  Justin Bieber ,  Carrie Underwood ,  LMFAO  and ceelo green.    Adele takes the lead as a finalist in 18 award categories , while LMFAO is a finalist in 17 categories. Rihanna lands in 13 categories this year, after leading the pack with 18 category appearances in 2011. Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne each snagged a spot in 10 categories.

Adele wins Brit Awards   The  Official Charts Compan y has revealed  Adele ’s  21  album is currently number seven on the UK’s all-time biggest selling albums chart. The news comes just three weeks after the London-born singer’s 2011 second album overtook sales of  Michael Jackson ’s  Bad .   21  has now sold over 4,142,000 copies in the UK, making it the seventh biggest-selling album of all-time. However, with just 12,000 sales separating  21  from the Number 6 album,  Dire Straits ’ 1985 long player  Brothers In Arms ,  Adele   could easily overtake the British rockers by the end of this week. Taylor swift   Taylor swift   is No. 1 again: The singer is the top act on BillBoard's Top 40 Money Makers" list.    Swift earned $36 million in 2011, according to the Billboard list released Friday.U2 was second with $32 million. Kenny chesney , lady gaga , and lil wayne  rounded out the top 5.      Artists' rankings were based on U.S. income sources from tours, albums sales and publishing royalties. Billboard said in a press release that it didn't factor in "sponsorships, merchandise sales or synchronization deals."     Adele was tenth on the list. Though she canceled most of her U.S. tour due to issues with her vocal cords, her album "21" sold more than 5 million units in 2011. Including sales from this year, "21" has sold nearly 8 million copies.      Justin bieber and Kanye west were 35th and 39th with  $5.5M and  $5.4M respectively.
