Cissy Houston and whitney houston        The Late Whitney Houston 's mother , Cissy Houston will perform a tribute to honour daughter at the 2012 BET Awards .       Cissy was recently added to the list of performers of the award to be hosted by samuel L. Jackson on july 1,2012 and will be joined on stage by many top female singers .      MMG leader Rick Ross and his artists Meek Mill and wale ,Kanye west's G.O.O.D Music, D'angelo have also been  added to previously announced performers .  The  BET Awards  airs live from The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. 

Whitney and daugher bobbi    A reality show featuring Whitney Houston 's relatives, including daughter Bobbi Kristina and mother Cissy, is in the works. Houston representative Kristen Foster confirmed the Lifetime show, " The Houston Family Chronicles, " on Friday.       It will focus on Pat Houston who is taking care of whitney's only daughter bobbi kristina , sister-in-law and manager of the late singer.The show promises to feature Bobbi Kristina and Cissy, as well as Houston's cousin Dionne Warwick, gospel singer CeCe Winans and other members of the Houston family.     Whitney houston's mom Cissy Houston, also a singer, put out her first new music in over a decade on iTunes this week. New York times reports  Cissy met with publishers in New York this week to shop a book about her daughter,    Affectionately calling her daughter “Nippy,” her childhood nickname, and appearing emotionally and physically drained, Ms. Houston met with publishers in a suite at the St. Regis Hotel.   Ms. Houston, 78, described the book as the real and definitive story of her daughter, the pop legend who died on Feb. 11 in Beverly Hills at the age of 48.    Talking about the book proposal to publishers, Ms. Houston seemed eager to set straight what she called “lies” about her daughter that have circulated in public discussion about her. “She said, ‘ There are so many lies out there and I want to dispel all of those lies, ’” one publishing executive said.“ It’s going to be the bad, it’s going to be the good ,” .   The book
