      The justice minister of Somalia's autonomous Hirshabelle state, Khalif Mumin Tohow, has died after contracting the novel coronavirus, the second recorded death in the country.      Tohow died on Sunday in Mogadishu's Martini hospital a day after he tested positive for COVID-19 in the town of Jowhar, the administrative capital of Hirshabelle.Ali Gudlawe Hussein, vice president of Hirshabelle, confirmed his death. According to local media, Tohow, who was Somali-British, travelled to the United Kingdom in February before he came back to the Horn of Africa nation.

  Rapper  Curtis '50 cent' jackson   teamed up with the World Food Program to see firsthand ,the effects of hunger in Somalia and Kenya.     The rap star who launched his street Kings energy drinks to raise money for feeding 1 billion kids flew to Dolo, Somalia few weeks back with the united nations. Tens of thousands of women and children have fled there over the last year to flee a devastating famine that killed tens of thousands of people across Somalia.    United Nations World food programe  said the rapper, has committed to provide 1 billion meals for the hungry, and is donating to  WFP  10 cents from every sale of a new energy drink called Street King that he is promoting.
