Popular Hollywood actor, Mark Salling, best known for his role as Noah "Puck" Puckerman on Fox's musical comedy-drama, "Glee," has died, according to his attorney.  His attorney Michael Proctor said in a statement to CNN: "I can confirm that Mark Salling passed away early this morning.Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment." May 2016, The 35 actor was indicted in on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography. He pleaded guilty to one count of possession of the material involving a prepubescent minor and was scheduled for sentencing March 7. As part of a plea agreement, Salling was expected to be sentenced to four years to seven years in federal prison, followed by a 20-year period of supervised release and registration as a sex offender.

“Father of South African jazz,” as he is often called Hugh Masekela has died at the age of 78 after a decade-long fight with cancer, according to a statement from his family on Tuesday. The South African jazz musician who died in Johannesburg, was a trumpeter, singer and compose. He was affectionately known locally as “Bra Hugh”. He started playing the horn at 14 and quickly became an integral part of the 1950s jazz scene in Johannesburg as a member of the Jazz Epistles. In a career spanning more than five decades, Mr. Masekela gained international recognition with his distinctive Afro-jazz sound and hits such as Soweto Blues, which served as one of the soundtracks to the anti-apartheid movement.

Connie Sawyer, who is actually Hollywood’s oldest working actress has died after an incredibly long and prolific career. She died at her home in Woodland Hills.   Connie started her career at the age of 18, in Tinseltown and has over 140 acting credits to her name. May her soul RIP.
