Chocolate city executives ---SECURICO won the $100,000 grand prize  Leading Nigerian entertainment conglomerate Chocolate City Group , which is the parent company to Chocolate City Music, Chocolate City Media and Chocolate City Distribution emerges the runner-up at the recently concluded Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship 2011, Held in Kenya.    Chocolate City, was the only entertainment company to make it to the top ten shortlist, after a record 3,300 companies from 48 African countries with a minimum annual turnover of $1 Million dollars and a maximum of $10 Million dollars for at least 3 years consecutively submitted entries to compete for the Grand Prize of US $100,000 and six other prizes of US $50,000 each.      The top ten companies made a formal presentation to an international jury of business leaders chaired by Malik Fal, Managing Director of Endeavor and some of Africa’s most prominent entrepreneurs and investors, amongst whom are Kamal Budhabhatti, Grand Prize Winner of

   The 2011 Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship has shortlisted the finalists for the Highly coveted award. Nigeria's chocolate city group  headed by Audu Maikori, Pepperoni foods limited  ,  First Atlantic Semiconductors and Micro Electronics Nigeria Limited  are among the Ten finalists shortlisted.30 companies were initially shortlisted but pruned down to the best ten.  The Ten companies will make a live presentation to an elite panel of Judges in Nairobi,kenya on December 6th,2011 . $40,000 in prize funds will be won .
