           Evangelist Ebenezer Obey fabiyi has released a new audio cd to mark his 70th birthday . The new cd is titled obey@70 special anniversary release and is  now available in all records store nationwide.     Evangelist obey turned 70 on april 3,2012 and it was celebrated with family and friends at 10 degrees event,Ikeja.

KSA and Obey at Oleku concert press conference     Juju Icon King Sunny Ade is set to perform at the 70th Birthday ceremony of his fellow icon, Evangelist Ebenezer Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi .      The Birthday celebration is scheduled to take place April 3,2012 at 10 Degrees Event Centre,Ikeja Lagos,    King Sunny Ade who will also celebrate 50 years on stage soon is ready to give a good account of himself at the event billed to attract the creme de la creme in the society. Both Ebenezer obey and King Sunny Ade have been billed to perform on the same stage at Oleku Concert May 27 .    The Long awaited concert takes place at harbour point,Victoria island lagos,to be  compered by Baba Sala and Fatai Rolling Dollars believed to have mentored KSA and Obey respectively.

   Juju music maestro turned evangelist, Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi (MFR) , has debunked a rumour of ill health published in  a recent edition of a Lagos-based local journal.     Ebenezer Obey, who flew in from Abuja last Sunday morning, where he graced a fund raising programme of the Anglican Communion, Ilesa Diocese, informed it was a  false alarm raised on his health by the Yoruba magazine and jingles of same on radio,according to Source.      Evangelist Obey who recently lost his wife assured that he is in very good health as it is only a healthy man that could move from Lagos to Akure and Abuja between Thursday and Saturday and be back in church on Sunday as he did few days ago.

    --Ebenezer obey , Bola Are, Aragbaiye to perform at the maiden event      The Nigerian Gospel Awards (NIGMA) will hold its Maiden edition this November. The award will take place on 25th November ,2011 at the National theater Iganmu , Lagos.      Leading gospel singers like Evangelist Bola Are , Evangelist Obey Fabiyi , Funmi Aragbaiye and many others are billed to perform as disclosed by othe organizers of the award.The maiden edition of the award which is sponsored by Cadbury Nigeria Plc, Grand oak Limited and Masamdore Ventures will reward and recognize creativity among gospel singers and promote Nigerian gospel music internationally. © celebregion

     Juliana Obey fabiyi ,the wife of Juju Musician turned Gospel artiste and Evangelist , Ebenezer obey fabiyi  has been laid to rest today .           She was laid to rest today at the husband’s compound in GRA, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital after a funeral service at the Bishop’s Court, Ibara, Abeokuta at 10.00 a.m. Activities marking the burial began on Tuesday with a commendation service at Decross Gospel Mission, Dopemu, Lagos.       It was followed by a Service of Songs/Praise Altar at the Bishop’s Court, Onikolobo, Abeokuta yesterday. Lady Evangelist Juliana Olaide Obey-Fabiyi, 67, died in the early hours of August 23, 2011 at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), in Ikeja, Lagos.

   Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi  has lost his wife fuliana of more than four and half decades.She  died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH.
