R.Kelly at past star mega jam         The organizers of the annual Star Mega Jam have disclosed the issue of frequent bombings and violence by Boko haram was  the main reason for cancelling this year's Star Mega Jam ,Multiple sources said over the weekend .           A letter from the United States Embassy in Nigeria  was issued  to American A-list artistes urging them to avoid performances in Nigeria because of the dangerous and unpredictable security situation which got to NBL .Lagos state goverment was also not ready to provide adequate security.     "If President Goodluck Jonathan cancelled Nigeria’s yearly Independence parade because of Boko Haram, NBL would have been stupid to have gone ahead with Star Mega Jam,”  NBL source said.     The Nigerian breweries corporate affairs adviser,Yusuf Egeni  had earlier  released a statement that reads;    The annual Music concert,star mega jam will not take place this year , The company regrets all inconveniences this will cau

R.kelly performs at star mega jam       The organizers of the  star mega Jam have cancelled 2011 edition .The annual event sponsored by the largest brewing company in Nigeria, Nigerian breweries has been cancelled due to some logistics challenges that could not be overcome. The Nigerian breweries corporate affairs adviser,Yusuf Egeni  released a statement that reads; The annual Music concert,star mega jam will not take place this year , The company regrets all inconveniences this will cause the fans who have been eagerly awaiting this year's edition of star mega jam     Star mega Jam started in 2000 and it has seen so many international stars like r.kelly , usher ,Ja rule, Akon and many others perform.
