One of the fans asked who he would like to have a hit battle with and Burna responded,   I don’t really know what a hit battle is but I’m willing to go toe to toe with ANY worthy challenger . Lyrically , musically , physically. However they want it. Former Mavin Records Artist, Reekado Banks replied that he is available for the challenge, He tweeted i@m game that energy let's get it.   Afrobeat Superstar Burna Boy has just been nominated for the 2020 Grammy Award. He was nominated in the 'Best World Music Album' category alongside Angelique Kidjo, Altin Gun and two other artists.     It's officially a Burna Year!!!  Burna Boy has just won the Best African act at the ongoing 2019 MTV European music award. 

After a  successful private listening party in Lagos last Sunday.  Burna Boy gave the “Outside” experience to a number of his fans United Kingdom. The event was hosted by Eddie Kadi of BBC 1Xtra and was attended by celebrities like Wizkid, J Hus, Tiwa Savage, Mr. Eazi, and Mabel to name a few. J Hus and Mabel joined Burna Boy on stage to perform their feature tracks “Sekkle Down” and “Outside” to the excitement of the fans.\ The Album, “Outside”, was officially released on Friday, January 26, under Atlantic Records. The album has now been released on all digital platforms.

Burna Boy organised an exclusive listening of his forthcoming album “Outside” in a private party at WéRé House in Lekki, Lagos.  Douglas Jekan of Beat FM was the host of the party. Celebrities and family member that attended the show were: Burna Boy’s Grandfather, Benson Idonije, as well as his mother and sister. Davido, Phyno, Skales, Nonso Bassey, Leriq, DJ Lambo, Chopstix and DJ Spinall were some of the celebrities and influencers that showed up to support Burna Boy.   The album is set to be released on all digital music platforms on the 26th of January under Atlantic Records.

    Burna Boy releases the official video to his latest single, “Check and Balance”. The video, a collaborative effort between popular music video director, MattMax, and Godfather Productions, takes you through different scenes ranging from the singer being chased by the police, to the dance floor where you’ll see a couple of hot girls performing amazing, sick dance moves.
