Miss USA Rima Fakih(centre) in court in April     Rima Fakih ,the first Arab-American to be crowned Miss USA, avoided jail during sentencing Wednesday in her Michigan drunken driving case, an experience she described as "very humbling."         Judge William McConico put Fakih on six months of probation, ordered the former beauty queen to perform 20 hours of community service and said she must pay $600 in fines and costs. Fakih also must attend an alcohol safety class.         The 26-year-old pleaded no contest last month to driving while visibly impaired in Highland Park, an enclave of Detroit.       Fakih faced a maximum penalty of 93 days in jail. " I'm very relieved " not to have been sentenced to serve jail time, Fakih said. " But let's say it got to that point.       Bobby brown was charged Wednesday with three misdemeanor charges including drunken driving, two days after his afternoon arrest in suburban Los Angeles.   Brown faces two DUI-related counts and another charge that he was driving on a suspended license.One of the counts alleged the R&B singer had a blood alcohol level of more than .08, which is the level at which is presumed to be driving under the influence.      The agency said Brown was initially stopped because he was seen talking on a cellphone without a hands-free unit, but the officer suspected the singer was impaired. Brown failed a field sobriety test, according to the CHP.    Brown faces up to six months in jail on the DUI counts if convicted. His first court appearance is scheduled for April 16.

    R&B singer Bobby Brown ,the ex-husband of late singer whitney houston was arrested in Los Angeles on Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence.    Brown, 43, was pulled over shortly after noon for talking on his cellphone while driving in the suburb of Reseda. Police suspected he had been drinking and he failed a sobriety test, said Los Angeles police Sgt. Mitzi Fierro.Brown was booked and briefly jailed before being released. The singer will likely face formal charges at a later date.
