Rapper Heavy D's Main Cause of Death Finally Revealed

     The cause of death of rapper  Heavy D  has been revealed to be a pulmonary embolism caused by deep leg vein thrombosis.     According to  TMZ , the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office has said that the rapper died after suffering a pulmonary embolism, more commonly known as a blood clot, in one of his legs, which was brought on by deep vein thrombosis. The rapper also suffered from heart disease, which could have also been a contributory factor.  Days before Heavy died, he was on a flight back from Europe, after performing at the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales. The Coroner's Office has classified the death as "natural.     The Rapper whose real name was  Dwight Arrington Myers , was pronounced dead on November 8 after being found unconscious at his Los Angeles home.

The show, which taped on November 17 at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, GA, brought out the best and brightest in the music industry and Hollywood.         Chris brown won album of the year, Rihanna won best carribean performance ,while Nicki minaj won Best Hip-Hop song.       T he event  paid homage to Heavy D. The late rapper was remembered by his close pals Naughty by Nature, Doug E. Fresh, Kurtis Blow and Goodie Mob. "We got nothing but love for you, Heavy!" they said at the end of the tribute.     Also honored with tribute performances were Gladys Knight and the group Earth, Wind & Fire both were presented with the Legend Awards. President Obama sends note for Rapper Heavy D funeral

John legend, Jayz , queen latifah, p.diddy, rosie perez      Heavy D was remembered through laughter and tear at a funeral service Friday that included humorous anecdotes from longtime friend Diddy and words of encouragement for his  young daughter , delivered in a letter from President barack obama "We extend our heartfelt condolences at this difficult time. He will be remembered for his infectious optimism and many contributions to  American music . Please know that you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers," read the Obama note, according to the Rev.Al sharpton who quoted from it during the service.     Xea Myers, Heavy D's 11-year-old daughter, also spoke briefly, and told the audience that her father was "still here, not in the flesh, but in the spirit."   Grace Baptist Church was filled to capacity for the service; it was so crowded that an overflow area was set up. Rapper Heavy D dies of respiratory problems at 44

Heavy D performed at the BET hiphop awards on oct 1   Rapper and actor Heavy D, who played an influential role in shaping rap music in the late '80s and early '90s with a fusion of New Jack Swing and reggae, has died. He was 44. Heavy D, who was born Dwight Arrington Myers, died Tuesday in the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after collapsing on the walkway outside his Beverly Hills home, according to law enforcement sources. According to TMZ;  Heavy D had just returned from shopping and walked up some stairs when he began having trouble breathing.  Adam Mills, a designer who was in the building and knew Heavy D, found him leaning against a railing and clearly in distress.  Adam tells us he cradled Heavy D in his lap as others called 911.  Adam says Heavy D was conscious and said to him, "I can't breathe, I can't breathe."  When paramedics took Heavy D to the hospital he had a pulse.  People in the building are saying he died of
