    Veteran former U.S. talk show host David Letterman will return to television on Jan. 12 in a new Netflix show where his first guest will be former U.S. President Barack Obama, Netflix Inc ( NFLX.O ) said on Friday. Called “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman,” the six-episode series will also feature interviews with actor George Clooney, rapper Jay-Z, radio shock jock Howard Stern, comedian Tina Fey and Pakistani education activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, the streaming service said.

  Jay-Z's new confessional and political release, "4:44," finally entered the Billboard 200 album chart, storming to the top spot and scoring his 14th No. 1 release.       The rapper and producer sold 262,000 units of "4:44," according to data from Nielsen SoundScan on Monday, to earn the fourth-highest one-week album sales total of 2017.       The album, on which Jay-Z admits cheating on his wife Beyonce and addresses the birth last month of their twins, was released on June 30 as a one-week exclusive to members of his streaming platform Tidal and customers of wireless carrier Sprint Corp.    Despite being certified platinum in its first week, "4:44" was absent from last week's Billboard 200 album chart because Tidal did not report numbers to Nielsen Music.

    Nigerian -American and  Maybach Music rapper wale folarin has parted ways Jay Z owned Management company,Roc Nation .  Signed to the   management company since 2009, Folarin left after his manager, Rich Kleiman, decided to focus on the company's relatively new sports department.    Wale has since signed with 77 North Management, a company started by tennis pro Andy Murray that also manages LeBron James.      Wale is planning to release his fourth album "about nothing" later this year .

  It is obvious all is not well between the Carters and Solange Knowles as it appeared during the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday evening.   Both Jay Z and Beyonce Knowles who were present at the star-studded ceremony chose to observe the moment with Kelly Rowland while Solange was believed to be present.    It was obviously deliberate that Beyonce kept her distance from her sister during the ceremony. it has been claimed that Solange unexpectedly ditched the ceremony prior to the Carters' heartfelt stage appearance with Blue Ivy.   The apparent snub comes just comes three months after footage of Solange viciously attacking her brother-in-law in an elevator emerged, fueling reports that all was not well in the power couple's marriage.

   Hip-Hop Mogul Jay z has been sued for copyright infringement over his memoir 'Decoded' . The rapper is being sued by Patrick White, who says he wrote large portions of 'Decoded' Decoded, which is partly a memoir and partly a book of lyrics with accompanying explanations, was published in 2010, but, according to Patrick White, who has filed a lawsuit against the rapper, most of it was stolen from his laptop computer.         White, who submitted the handwritten lawsuit last week, alleges that his laptop was taken in 2009 and the '99 Problems' rapper has failed to response to his requests to be credited appropriately. He is suing for copyright infringement and invasion of property.

"I'm working on the G.O.O.D. Music album, of course," said Dean, "and Watch The Throne 2    it's not started yet, but it's coming."        Dean co-produced Watch the Throne and added production to West's albums Graduation and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Rumors of a Throne sequel have been circulating for a while, with Jay-Z hinting last December that the follow-up could arrive in 2012.       Kanye west premiered short film cruel summer earlier this week which contains music from forthcoming G.O.O.D.
