Nigerian footballer Ahmed Musa Loses mum

     Super eagles player,  Ahmed Musa has lost his mum.  The Saudi Arabia based player announced her departure on his social media platforms with the caption "what a sad day of my life, just lost my mum.      May her soul rest in peace.

Jay-Jay Okocha, Ahmed Musa,Perpetua Nwokcha Nominated for 2011 GLO-CAF Awards

   The Confederation of African football has  released the list of nominees of this year's GLO-CAF Awards.The list which was compiled  through a vigorous exercise was released in cairo ,Egypt last Wednesday .    Former captain of Super Eagles, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha , Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa of VVV Venlo of Holland,  former African Women Player of the Year, Perpetua Nkwocha ,  were among the  nominees     Okocha was nominated  for the Legend Award while Perpetua Nwokcha who distinguished herself at the last African Women’s Championship in South Africa was nominated for Women Footballer of the Year.     Musa, who played for the Flying Eagles at the last World Cup in Colombia, and also featured for both the national U-23 side was nominated for Most Promising Talent of the Year Award.    The winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on Thursday, December 22, at the Banquet Hall, State House, Accra, Ghana. © celebregion

Super eagles Winger ,Ahmed Musa weds in November

   Super Eagles winger  and  VVV Venlo of Holland   Ahmed Musa is set to quit bachelorhood as the enterprising forward plans to take his fiancee to the altar next month. According to Complete sports, The event is expected to be a low profile one as the former Kano Pillars forward who also is a key member of the Nigerian Olympic team gets the full backing of his family for his anticipated Arsenal of England move in the January transfer window.   Musa's family source  informed that the wedding is being planned for November well ahead of the anticipated switch to the English Premier League side. it was disclosed that Musa's fiancée Jamila resides in Gyadi-Gyadi Area in Kano. "They have been together for some time and now everything seems settled as they look for the future together," a source close to  Musa family said.
