John mikel obi           Chelsea FC star and Nigerian Midfielder John Mikel Obi will launch his foundation 'Mikel Obi Foundation' on friday June 8,2012  .     The event is scheduled to  take place at the civic center in lagos The UEFA champions league winner when talking to newsmen about the foundation said;  “I want to give back to the society, Nigeria made me and I have always longed to help the poor, especially the Alimajaris. I grew up in Jos and I have seen these people beg for food. I want them to share in my success and I think this is the right time to help out. “The Foundation is not a short term project; it is a long term thing. I will set up a financial strategy to ensure the success of this project.       Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Martins has hinted that he is ready to set up his own foundation in december . He  paid a visit to orictoritak motherless babies home in Kazan Russia, on Saturday , to give out gifts to orphans and motherless babies and stated that he will have the Nigerian version done in december.The gifts was given in memory of his late brother and mother.The foundation will also be setup in memory of his late brother. Martins last played in the Europa League for Rubin Kazan against  Tottenham, last week.
