Eighty-six new cases of #COVID19 have been reported; 70 in Lagos 7 in FCT 3 in Katsina 3 in Akwa Ibom 1 in Jigawa 1 in Bauchi 1 in Borno As at 11:50 pm 19th April there are 627 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 170 Deaths: 21

Wizkid wins over D'Banj ,seun Kuti for MOBO Awards Best African Act


      Nigeria's Wizkid won MOBO Award last night for Best African Act category . He won over the final top five,cheik lo, Nigeria's D 'banj and seun kuti ,fautomata diawara that was shorlisted  last month from the 10 previously nominated.
      Tinie Tempah, Adele, Dappy and Tinchy Stryder were amongst those honoured with a prestigious MOBO Award , whilst Jessie J walked away  four awards making her the biggest winner of the night. 

     With pop prince Jason Derulo and Alesha Dixon as the evening's dynamic hosts, the 16th MOBO Awards in association with Lebara Mobile at the SECC in Glasgow, was televised live on BBC3 with highlights to follow this Friday on BBC1 at 11:45pm.


Guest presenters on the night included Chipmunk, Olympic medallist Philipps Idowu, Fazer of N-Dubz and ex-Sugababe Keisha Buchanan.
