Rihanna is speaking to her ex boyfriend, Chris Brown, after watching his Michael Jackson tribute during the 2010 BET Awards. A source told Heat Magazine, “Seeing how emotional he was on set really touched her. She'd never seen him like that before. Chris told her that he felt like he's grown up in the past year. He's said he's so happy to be back in touch with her.”
The former couple hasn’t spoken in nearly a year since Brown was sentenced with community service for assaulting Rihanna.
They’ve exchanged text messages with plans to meet face-to-face. However, under the terms of his probation, Chris must remain at least 100 yards away from Rihanna for five years.
