Nigerian traditional hip-hop artist 9ice has announced his separation from his wife, Toni Payne. Confirming the news, 9ice's publicist, Ayeni Adekunle, in a press statement made available to NEXT said, "The couple has agreed to separate for a while, even though they continue to remain good friends and business partners. Their baby Zion will reside with Ms. Payne for now. Neither 9ice nor Toni will be granting any press interviews on this matter."
The musician wedded Toni Payne on July 17,2008. The two dated before 9ice achieved nationwide success
