Edochie, Ohakim’s Aide Kidnapped+victoria beckam

Famous Nollywood actor, Chief Pete Edochie, was yesterday kidnapped at Nkpor, Onitsha, Anambra state. His kidnap came as gunmen also abducted the Special Adviser to Imo State Governor on Due Process, Chief Cyril Anyanwu, at his Agunneze, Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government residence at about 10 am.
Edochie who resides at Independence Layout, Enugu was believed to have gone to shoot a film in the area when he was kidnapped.The car he was travelling in was said to have been hijacked around 4.30 pm by his abductors who were said to have been unaware of his identity.It was gathered that a member of his family who heard about the incident called his telephone number, but there was no response.Though the details of the incident was scanty as at press time, Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, Emeka Chukwuemeka (ASP), confirmed it, saying detectives were on the trail of the gang.
On the kidnap of Ohakim's aide, We learnt that the kidnappers trailed the Imo state official from the village where he went to worship . He was said to have been followed on his way back to his residence and was abducted as he was about to enter his gate. He was subsequently whisked away to an unknown destination.
we also gathered that the kidnappers had opened discussion with the victim’s family and relatives. The kidnappers who came in a Honda Hala car and armed, ordered their victim to get down from his vehicle and as soon as he compiled, they zoomed off with the vehicle and the victim. When contacted on telephone, Imo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Aloysius Okorie, confirmed the incident and assured that his men had been dispatched to deal with the situation.He, however, advised the public to keep watch over those they don’t recognise within their neighbourhood and report same to the police promptly.
