The Nigerian Oscar Selection Committee has chosen Genevieve Nnaji's 'Lion Heart' to represent Nigeria for the 2020 Academy Award for Best International Film.
This is the first entry ever for Nigeria. Lion Heart, released in 2018 had been previously acquired by streaming platform, Netflix.
We hope the movie wins the award category!
