Nelson Mandela Discharged From Hospital

   Former President Nelson Mandela has been discharged from hospital following his admission yesterday, Saturday 25 February.

   The doctors have decided to send him home as the diagnostic procedure he underwent did not indicate anything seriously wrong with him.The 93-year-old anti-apartheid crusader underwent a laparoscopy to help determine the cause of the stomach issue that sent him to the hospital on Saturday ,spokesman Mac Maharaj told The Associated Press.

   Mandela "is surrounded by his family and is relaxed and comfortable. The doctors are happy with the progress he is making," South African President Jacob Zuma said in a statement. 

President Zuma thanks the public for the good wishes and support.
