Haitian hip-hop star Wyclef Jean has formally registered his bid for the presidency of his earthquake-ravaged homeland.The three-time Grammy award winner greeted crowds of cheering supporters in the downtown area of Port-au-Prince after registering his intention to run in the November 28 election.
'I would like to tell (U.S.) President Barack Obama that the United States has Obama and Haiti has Wyclef Jean,' he announced.
