In one of the most physical, defensive, & intense NBA Finals in history the Lakers clinched a game 7 and a back to back NBA Championship trophy. Along with the back to back championships was a repeat Bill Russell Finals MVP trophy for "The Greatest Player in The World," according to Magic Johnson and many more, Kobe Bryant.
The Lakers were not hesitant to emphasize the huge role that the fans had played in them winning the Championships. One of the many to thank the fans, Phil Jackson, is one of the few question marks concluding this season, as to whether or not he will return as the head coach of the Lakers. Kobe let his opinion be known on this issue when accepting the MVP trophy, letting Phil know that he wanted him back as a head coach.
